Freshwater Sport Fishing

Freshwater fishing in the Campbell River area of Vancouver Island is often overlooked because of our fantastic salmon fishing and the rush to get out and hook a mighty Tyee salmon. The abundance of steelhead and trout in Vancouver Island rivers is one of our best kept fishing secrets. For those in the know, Steelhead are fantastic fighters and are especially exciting to hook when fly fishing. We have both winter and summer runs and can offer some of the best year-round steelhead fishing on Vancouver Island

Just fish or learn to fish, it’s up to you! We will guide you to the fish and we can also teach casting and presentation skills. We can outfit you with everything you will need from waders to fishing tackle and top of the line equipment.
